Mister Lady Zen is a multidisciplinary performance artist, actor, and singer known for powerful vocals and poetic lyricism. Don’t Stop the Music is a fun season closer that defines the influence and joy found in the elite genre of house music.

Their work has been featured in haute-couture fashion shows, independent films, and large outdoor stages around the world with their unique blend of lyric modernism. Accompanied by a three-piece live band, this concert will feature classic house mega hits and original compositions that are part of a new album coming out in 2026. My work is heavily influenced by R&B, Soul, and modern Urban Jazz.  

The Palm and Coco Cabaret family of artists welcomes Mister Lady as one of our rising star performers making a Lincoln Center debut at The Mabel Mercer Foundation Annual New York Cabaret Convention in October of 2025.

Beyond music, Lady Zen is a writer and advocate, using their voice to inspire and uplift diverse audiences. Their work explores themes of identity, resilience, and love which has gained career-defining recognition for their dynamic presence and thought-provoking artistry.

Nominated for Best Queer Performer of 2024: Best of Vallarta Gays Awards – Mr. Lady Zen has been performing in Vallarta since 2018 to sold-out audiences in theaters and concert houses with their award-winning performances and compositions.

For those who like Eryka Badu, Pattie Labelle, Chaka Khan, and Bessie Smith, then it doesn’t get much better than Lady Zen!
